Hand, Foot and Ankle Surgery at Crystal Run Healthcare

Hand Surgery
Crystal Run’s fellowship-trained hand surgeons specialize in treatment of advanced deformities and traumatic injury as well as chronic and arthritic conditions of the hands and upper extremities. They treat everything from carpal tunnel syndrome, fractures and lacerations, to Trigger finger (stenosing tenosynovitis) and Tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). Crystal Run hand surgeons have the unique distinction of being CAQ Certified by the National Board of Orthopedic Surgery for hand surgery specialization. In our state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center, our orthopedic hand surgeons perform same-day procedures for carpal tunnel, wrist and hand fractures, as well as nerve and vessel repairs.

At Crystal Run, hand surgery is a multi-disciplinary approach involving your orthopedic surgeon, our pain management team, and follow-up care with an occupational or physical therapist. Our physical & occupational therapy department offers a comprehensive hand therapy and work hardening program designed to rehabilitate and restore function to those with conditions affecting the hands and upper extremities.

Ailments and conditions of the foot and ankle can result from accidents, sports, shoes and your general health. So if it’s broken, swollen, burning, curling or numb, it’s time to call Crystal Run Healthcare. We boast the only orthopedic surgeon in the region who is fellowship-trained in the complex care of foot and ankle problems. Dr. Stephanie Adam performs a variety of surgical procedures of the foot and ankle, including foot and ankle fusion, along with bunion and adult flatfoot reconstruction. She also surgically treats foot and ankle fractures and their long term sequelae. Dr. Adam has an interest in treating sports injuries of the foot and ankle (including osteochondral injuries, Achilles ruptures, peroneal tendon pathology, and ankle instability), employing ankle arthroscopy and minimally invasive techniques when possible.

And because she’s part of the Crystal Run Team of Orthopedic Surgeons, you can be sure that she’s backed by the latest diagnostic tools and the most advanced technology.
