Laura Ronen, MS, RD, CDE, Joins Practice in Monroe and West Nyack
Middletown, N.Y. – May 8th, 2017 – Crystal Run Healthcare welcomes Laura Ronen, MS, RD, CDE, Clinical Dietician and Certified Diabetes Educator, to the practice. Leveraging a variety of skills and expertise, Mrs. Ronen offers comprehensive nutritional care, including counseling for weight control and disease management, and coordinates aspects of the practice’s diabetes education program, where she provides guidance on diabetes prevention and lifestyle modifications for patients of the practice. Laura Ronen, MS, RD, CDE, earned her Bachelor of Science from Florida International University in Miami, FL and earned her Master of Science in Nutrition and Food Studies from New York University in New York, NY.
“We are excited to welcome Laura Ronen MS, RD, CDE to Crystal Run Healthcare as our newest registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator. She brings to our practice her expertise in adult and adolescent diabetes education and nutritional advice. She can provide behavior modification plans for Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, gestational diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and weight loss. In addition, she will provide comprehensive medical nutrition therapy both individually and in a class format,” said Peggy Nelson, MD, Division Lead of Endocrinology, at Crystal Run Healthcare.
