What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My father was my main influence since my childhood. It is with his encouragement and motivation that I had pursued a career in the field of Medicine.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
A genuine love for children was my motivation to be a Pediatrician. There is an abundance of job satisfaction in treating children and seeing their innocent smiles and unconditional love. Pediatrics is definitely an emotionally rewarding branch in Medicine.
How do you connect with your patients?
By listening, understanding empathizing, caring and accepting.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Music, Interior designing, fabric designing, collecting paintings and art, friends, travel, reading Asterix, Obelix and Ompa-pa comics by Rene' Goscinny and Albert Uderzo, movies, multi-ethnic cuisine and nature.
What is your advice for your patients?
Practice healthy lifestyle, be safe and happy, work hard, chase your dreams, never give up and enjoy the moments.
