What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
The biggest thing that made me want to be a Physician Assistant is my position allows me to have more face time with patients. I get to discuss their illness or injury and review their treatment plan with them giving them more insight into their issues.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
My background is in Athletic Training and sports medicine. I love being able to help my patients return to their previous lifestyle after an injury.
How do you connect with your patients?
I try to relate and connect with my patients on a personal level, and spend as much time with them as needed to make sure that all their questions are answered and they actually understand what we are doing and why we are doing it.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Sports, reading, spending time with my family.
What is your advice for your patients?
Work as hard as you can and be patient.
