What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My father was a physician. I loved going to the hospital with him when he did rounds. I wanted to be just like my father when I grew up.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love the interaction with the patients. I chose my specialty because there is usually a happy outcome.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect by being a good listener and letting them know I care about their issues.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I love to spend time with my family. Most recently I started doing karate with my son. I also enjoy bike riding with my family and traveling whenever my schedule permits.
What is your advice for your patients?
Whenever they have a problem to call me for help.
