What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I can remember loving science and health as early as elementary school. Having the ability to improve overall health and quality of life gives me great satisfaction.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Difficulty breathing is probably the worse sensation someone can experience. I enjoy helping to resolve that symptom and taking care of the critically ill.

How do you connect with your patients?

I like talking to my patients about things that are important to them besides their health; hobbies, trips, family, etc.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy spending time with my family swimming and playing tennis and golf.

What is your advice for your patients?

STOP SMOKING!
