This may involve polysomnograpy, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, diagnostic and surgical procedures, pharmacology, and treatment modalities. Care Management

Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Med/Peds Department in all locations. Acts as a liaison for Physicians and clinical staff to ensure patient flow is smooth and effective. Responsible for the daily operations, staffing, budgeting, performance improvement, equipment maintenance and purchases for the department. Functions as a member of the nursing leadership team. The Clinical Evening Laboratory Supervisor is responsible for the overall evening operation of all office laboratory sites until closing including personnel, inventory, management, technical oversight, and administration of training, safety, quality assurance and proficiency testing programs.  Act as a subject expert for the phlebotomy/lab assistant and clinical staff and performs venipunctures/heelsticks and fingersticks as needed. Also performs all duties of Laboratory Technologist as needed.
