What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I wanted to have a job where I could help people every day.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Helping a patient and family through a high-risk pregnancy. Maternal-fetal medicine is an interesting field because there is always challenging pathology.
How do you connect with your patients?
Different people seek different things from their health care provider. Part of my job is to figure out what that is for each patient and to do my best to give them the care that they came to see me for.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Museums, independent films, tap dancing, traveling, scuba diving, skiing.
What is your advice for your patients?
One can never go over kick count instructions too many times!
