What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I spent quite a bit of time at the medical clinics, either for myself or accompanied other family members to see their doctors when I was growing up. I admired what the physicians do, and wanted to become one.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose Family Medicine because it allows me to see patients of all cases, treat a variety of medical conditions, and gives me the opportunity to get to know the whole family.
How do you connect with your patients?
I believe in honesty and I connect with patients through honest conversation and try to act as their healthcare advocate.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I love to travel, learn new cultures, and try new foods.
What is your advice for your patients?
Trying to quit a bad habit or controlling a disease is not easy. I advise them to take small steps, little by little and it can be done.
