What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
As a young child, I remember thinking I wanted to be prepared and have the knowledge to be able to help a family member and/or loved one if they were to become sick.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love working with children as well as with adults in helping them be as healthy as possible.
How do you connect with your patients?
I try to listen to them as best as I can and try to understand where they are coming from. It is a privilege that they are sharing parts of their lives with me as their Physician.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I love the outdoors, especially hiking and biking. I also love to travel when I have the chance.
What is your advice for your patients?
To be mindful of the food they eat and to make healthy choices.
