What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My earliest memory of wanting to be a Doctor would have to be around the age of 7, until watching the show "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman".
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I always knew that I wanted to be in a surgical specialty but fell in love with OBGYN during my 3rd rotation of medical school. I enjoy caring for women during various stages of life.
How do you connect with your patients?
Every time I interact with my patients, I think about how I would want my Mother, Grandmother, or Sister to be treated.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I enjoy the ballet and other types of dance, makeup artistry, and spending time with my family and friends.
What is your advice for your patients?
"Self care is not selfish, you cannot serve from an empty vessel."
