About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

The scientific curiosity and the ability to combine that with improving people's day to day lives.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love the variety of Pulmonary and Critical Care.  The mix of hospital and clinic-based care.

How do you connect with your patients?

I feel the most important part of connecting is to listen and not just speak.  In addition, I feel the patients sense when their doctor is rushed so I always give them as much time as they need.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Movies, traveling, sports, and reading.

What is your advice for your patients?

Take your medications, talk to me if there are any concerns and preach in moderation.
