About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I grew up watching my brother go to medical school. I used to read his medical atlases and books. From there on I wanted to be a physician because I liked every aspect of it.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I like problem solving and the chance to follow my patients through treatment and afterwards. I like to follow my patients long term. I chose internal medicine because of challenges it offers and the variety of cases seen.
How do you connect with your patients?
By being compassionate, an active listener and respectful. I engage patients actively to be part of their treatment plans.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Spending time with family, photography, art, history
What is your advice for your patients?
I advise them on healthy life styles, including exercise, diet and tobacco cessation counseling.
