What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I have always been interested in science and people. Medicine seemed to be the perfect combination.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose urology because it is a great combination of surgery and medicine. We care for patients of all ages, build continuing relationships, and can help many patients.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to sit when talking and make good eye contact. I like discuss non-medical issues and interests with my patients.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Family Time, Cooking, Golf, Skiing

What is your advice for your patients?

Try to maintain good health. It speeds up your recovery and reduces future health problems.
