What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I was born into a big family, so taking care of the sick and elderly has always been a part of me.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Cardiology is one of the most complex and extensively studied subspecialties of medicine. A cardiologist's decisions are based on guidelines and clinical studies. Nevertheless, there are new technologies developed every day to treat cardiovascular diseases. It is rewarding to work in this field and help patients live healthier lives.
How do you connect with your patients?
I listen to my patients and talk to them in their language. There's no need for complicated medical terminology. I am available to help them understand their medical conditions and choose the best treatment plans that will work.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
As a mother, wife, and daughter, I spend time with my family as much as I can.
What is your advice for your patients?
You are in control of your health and your life. We will work together to find a plan that works for you.
