About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
In Junior High School, I joined the American Red Cross Youth Corps and spent my summers volunteering at the local hospital. This experience taught me about the importance of human connection and giving a hand when you are able.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Orthopedic Surgery allows you to work with your hands and your mind as well as with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
How do you connect with your patients?
I think that listening to, and understanding the individual is key.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I really enjoy spending time with loved ones and windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, skiing, gardening, or exploring new places.
What is your advice for your patients?
Ultimate wellness is regular exercise, a balanced diet, and obtaining happiness by doing things you love.
