About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I wanted to be a doctor because I have always been fascinated with the human body and how it works, plus I love to help people.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I like having to know a lot about a lot of different things. I chose my specialty because I like seeing thing to the end, and because analyzing a patient's symptoms are like trying to solve a puzzle.

How do you connect with your patients?

I always sit down, shake hands, and introduce myself. If I can't sit, I kneel or squat next to the bed. I always ask about their family or job to find a connection.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I like to lift weights, do cross-fit, spend time with my wife and kids. I like to read and learn new things in my free time.

What is your advice for your patients?

Stay active, eat right.
