Middletown, N.Y. – April 13, 2016 – Crystal Run Healthcare’s Director of Nursing (DoN), Joan Patterson, RN, MSN, CBN, has been appointed to the Sullivan County Health Services Advisory Board for the next three years. Ms. Patterson joined Crystal Run Healthcare in 2011. She was appointed to Crystal Run Healthcare’s Director of Nursing in 2013 and is still currently in that role. In addition to serving on the Sullivan County Public Health Services Advisory Board for the first time, Ms. Patterson is a member of the SullivanArc Foundation and SUNY Sullivan Advisory Boards. In 2013, Ms. Patterson was recognized in the Sullivan County Democrat’s “Business and Professional Women” edition and is a member of the American Nurses Association. For the past four years, Joan has also served on the Hudson Valley Arthritis Walk Committee and was a graduate of the 2013-2014 Leadership Sullivan class.
The Sullivan County Health Services Advisory Board serves in an advisory capacity to the Public Health Director on issues related to the health of the entire County, such as communicable disease, threats, immunization rates, health status indicators and population health matters.
