Cancellation Policy

Cancellation/Missed Appointment Policy

In an effort to ensure that all patients have access to timely care, please be advised of our 24-hour cancellation policy. If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment or procedure, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time in order to cancel or reschedule. Doing so allows us to accommodate other patients that need to be seen.  

Effective October 1, 2023, patients who miss a scheduled appointment or procedure without providing us with prior notice will be considered a “no-show” and will be charged a fee of:

  • $25 for an office visit/consultation, and
  • $100 for a scheduled procedure/surgery or imaging study, including PET, MRI, CT, and diagnostic cardiac testing.

Attending scheduled appointments is important to ensure any medical conditions you have are being managed closely, treatment plans are being followed, and you are staying up-to-date on all screenings as recommended by your providers. Repeatedly missing scheduled appointments without notifying the practice puts you at risk of being discharged as a patient.
