What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

When I was five years old, I was amazed at how special the human body is and I was curious how this works. As I was growing, I became a devoted believer in the Creator of the human race and wanted to play a vital part in relieving suffering.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Family Medicine gives me the opportunity to serve all ages, to follow kids from the cradle and adults/elderly to the grave, offering support, help and guidance.

How do you connect with your patients?

It usually takes a smile on my face, a few understanding words, and expression of empathy that helps us connect and realize that I genuinely care about them.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Music (flute, piano, singing, listening, making music, etc.), my family (I have two young kids), the outdoors, reading.

What is your advice for your patients?

Trust and verify what you are told, be you and your family's own advocate, and trust in the love of the one who created you.
