Using electrophysiologic (EP) studies to record and evaluate the electrical activity of the heart, electrophysiologists treat many conditions including atrial/ventricular fibrillation, bradycardia, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) and other cardiac arrhythmias. (Patients with these disorders frequently complain of palpitations, dizziness and blackouts).
