About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I was exposed to hospitals very early in my life due to chronic illness in a family member which piqued my interests.  Ever since then I always wanted to understand how the body works, and to convey that information to my patients.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

The chance to work in a field with challenging diagnoses that offers a chance to make long-term relationships with patients, while also serving a pivotal role in decision making in hospital and ICU settings.

How do you connect with your patients?

I show them that they aren't just another patient; I show them I have time for them, show them that I'm really listening to all of their problems - not just medical - and relate to them in a personal level outside of our doctor-patient relationship.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Biking, travel, jogging, reading, hiking, and fitness.

What is your advice for your patients?

A healthy lifestyle with proper diet and regular exercise is the best medicine of all.
