What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I became a doctor because I like navigating the complexity of medical conditions with patients. I admired Physicians when I was a child because of their medical knowledge and kindness.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
As a Physiatrist, I am able to treat a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, bones, joints and muscles. Every patient is unique and I enjoy providing medical care that is individualized.
How do you connect with your patients?
I establish a relationship with my patients by listening to their concerns and then developing a plan to achieve their goals to better health.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I like to spend time with my family and friends. I also enjoy playing tennis, jogging and reading.
