The Latest Ear, Nose, and Throat Technologies

Welcome to Otolaryngology at Crystal Run. Otolaryngology (also known as ENT or Ear, Nose, and Throat medicine) is a medical and surgical specialty concerned with the diagnosis, management, and treatment of diseases and disorders of the ear, nose, throat, and related structures of the head and neck, including the sinuses, larynx (voice box), oral cavity, and upper pharynx (mouth and throat).

Otolaryngology should not be confused with otorhinolaryngology, the former of which is concerned with diseases of the ear, nose, and throat; the latter is concerned with the study of the ear, nose, and throat, generally.

Treatment for the Full Spectrum of Ear, Nose, and Throat Conditions

Whether you have sinus problems, a stuffy nose, difficulty hearing, hoarseness, or even a snoring problem, our academically trained otolaryngologists are here for you. Our ENT doctors treat a wide range of conditions, including hearing loss, sleep apnea, sinusitis, vertigo, chronic sore throats, tonsillitis, thyroid disorders, and tinnitus (noise or ringing in the ears), in both children and adults.

Diseases of the thyroid gland are very common, affecting millions of Americans. The most common thyroid problems are hyperthyroidism (or overactive gland), hypothyroidism (or underactive gland) and thyroid enlargement (often called a goiter) due to overactivity or underactivity.

Our ear nose and throat doctors perform thyroid and parathyroid surgery, and, with the recently added rapid PTH (parathyroid hormone testing) testing, parathyroidectomies (the surgical removal of one or more of the parathyroid glands) can be performed in less time.

The board-certified ENT specialists at Crystal Run Healthcare understand how debilitating ear, nose, and throat conditions can be, especially chronic conditions like hyper/hypothyroidism, or sleep apnea, which can significantly impair sleep. Our nose, throat, and ear doctors are dedicated to helping patients get relief from their symptoms and breathe clearly.
