About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I remember wanting to become a doctor as early as I was 5. I frequently went to my mom's work (she was a chief accountant in a healthcare sanatorium) and had seen many patients with diabetes requiring special diet and treatment. One day I witnessed a patient in a hypoglycemic coma and saw a chief medical doctor of the organization saving the patient himself. That impressed me very much and I thought that by becoming a doctor I would have the opportunity to do more good in one day than most people in a month.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love endocrinology as it is one of the specialties in medicine that allows you to help patients manage their conditions and improve their quality of life. When I went to medical school and started learning medicine I realized that my grandmother had a thyroid problem which was never diagnosed appropriately, ever since I decided to become an endocrinologist to help people with endocrine issues.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients by listening to them, discussing their condition, offering treatment options, and working together to prevent the complications of the disease and improve overall health.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I love spending time with my family, playing, and enjoying art crafting with my daughter. I also love planting and enjoy walking with my dog.

What is your advice for your patients?

I use my medical knowledge to help my patients solve their health problems, I can feel their pain and want to help in all ways possible. But patients' 100% commitment is required.
