Crystal Run Healthcare Chief Clinical Operations Officer, Gaynor Rosenstein, MS, CMPE, Participates in 'Lean Six Sigma: Driving Improvement in Your Healthcare Organization' Webinar

Middletown, N.Y. – August 21, 2018 – On June 27th, Crystal Run Healthcare Chief Clinical Operations Officer, Gaynor Rosenstein, MS, CMPE, participated in a webinar, ‘Lean Six Sigma: Driving Improvement in Healthcare’, hosted by Phreesia, a healthcare software company. Ms. Rosenstein presented alongside Frank Cohen, Director of Analytics and Business Intelligence for Doctors Management.

Lean Six Sigma methodology uses a collaborative team approach to remove waste and reduce variation in manufacturing to ultimately improve performance. The webinar covered how Crystal Run Healthcare used Lean principles to design the practices’ Newburgh, Monroe, and West Nyack facilities and how workflows were changed to improve the patient provider and staff experience. The practice focused on reducing waste and improving the efficiency of check-in and check-out processes, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) documentation, supply management, and communications. 

Gaynor Rosenstein, MS, CMPE joined Crystal Run Healthcare in 2008 as the Senior Vice President of Operations, and assumed the role of Chief Clinical Operations Officer in 2014.She earned her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from New School University in New York, NY and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator by the State of New York. Ms. Rosenstein is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt and Certified Medical Practice Executive as well as a graduate of Leadership Orange, class of 2011.
