Effective Rehab Therapies and Treatments

Welcome to Physical & Occupational Therapy at Crystal Run Healthcare. Crystal Run offers physical & occupational therapy provided by licensed and experienced therapy professionals at our Middletown and Rock Hill, New York locations.

The physical therapy suites include private treatment rooms, a centralized PT therapy gym area equipped with various cardiovascular exercise machines, strength training equipment, and a host of other treatment tools designed to address the individual’s impairments, to maximize their recovery, and to return to participation in their daily activities.

Our licensed and experienced physical therapy team provides a range of specialized physiotherapy services, including orthopedic physical therapy, sports physical therapy, manual interventions, gait and balance training, and will create an individualized rehabilitation program to meet the patient’s specific needs.

Occupational/ Hand Therapy

Our skilled occupational therapy team provides specialized treatment to orthopedic injuries of the elbow, wrist, and hand. Occupational therapy interventions may include custom splint fabrication, various modalities (such as ultrasound and neuromuscular electric stimulation), flexibility and strengthening exercises, fine motor activities, and sensory integration techniques.

Aqua Therapy at 95 Crystal Run Road

Performed in a heated saltwater pool, aqua therapy uses the physical properties of water to assist in patient healing and exercise performance while reducing stress on the joints, decreasing swelling, and improving joint position awareness.

Hand Therapy

Our Occupational therapists and certified hand therapists (CHT) provide specialized care for injuries and post-surgical rehabilitation involving the elbow, wrist, and hand.

Occupational Therapy (OT)

OT incorporates meaningful and purposeful daily activities to enable people with limitations or impairments to participate in everyday life. Occupational therapists work with individuals, families, and groups to facilitate health and well-being through engagement or re-engagement in everyday activities and tasks.

Pelvic Floor Therapy

The Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation program is designed to treat a variety of health concerns in both men and women specific to the pelvic floor muscles — which support, protect, and control organs within the pelvis such as the vagina, uterus, bladder, urethra and rectum. Treatment provided by our specially trained staff can help to address urinary and/or fecal incontinence, pelvic pain, uterine prolapse and issues that develop during or after pregnancy. Pelvic floor rehabilitation is conducted in a private, comfortable treatment setting.
