Practice Donates Over 120 Baskets and Nonperishable Food Items to Families in Need

Crystal Run Healthcare employees brought joy and nourishment to families in need this Thanksgiving by donating a record-breaking 122 baskets full of generous arrangements that contained the complete fixings for a Thanksgiving meal. In more than 20 offices, employees came together to donate food and nonperishable items for local families. On the morning of Friday, November 22nd, the baskets were collected and distributed to patients and other families in need throughout Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, and Rockland counties. Nonperishable food items were also supplied to Guild of St. Margaret Soup Kitchen in Middletown, NY.

Crystal Run Healthcare has been participating in the Thanksgiving food drive for over fifteen years. This is one of many philanthropic efforts that the employees of Crystal Run Healthcare participate in and support each year, in order to give back to the local communities.

“I can’t say enough about the amazing employees at Crystal Run Health. The employees are extremely generous and committed to the community. When there are people in need, they come together and go above and beyond to help and meet that need. This was even more evident this year as we gave out 122 Thanksgiving food baskets. We were also able to make donations of food to the Boys and Girls Club and The Guild of St. Margaret’s Soup Kitchen. The baskets make a difference, they give people in need a Thanksgiving meal for their families – something they may not have had otherwise,” said Tara Kammarada, Director of Human Resources at Crystal Run Healthcare.
