Each year, Crystal Run Healthcare is excited and proud to participate in both the Medical Academy and Excelsior program and contribute to the students’ ongoing education and interest of a career in the medial field.

“Each year we look forward to educating high school juniors and seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in medicine.  Crystal Run Healthcare’s participation in this program is an integral part of our overall mission and allows us the opportunity to teach and mentor future professionals.  Not only is this exciting for both our providers and students, but we hope the students involved in this program are further inspired by our providers to follow their dreams,” said Gregory Spencer, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Crystal Run Healthcare.
“For the past four years, Pine Bush High School students interested in pursuing careers in health related fields have had amazing opportunities to shadow Crystal Run Healthcare providers.  It’s always amazing to hear from the students upon their return from the fieldwork and it is clear that their experiences have certainly helped guide them into making more informed career decisions.  The strategic partnership between Pine Bush High School and Crystal Run Healthcare provides our students personalized opportunities to work closely with and learn from respected health care providers in our community,” said Pine Bush High School Principal, Aaron Hopmayer.
