Crystal Run Managing Partner & CEO Receives Humanitarian Award

Middletown, N.Y. – May 10, 2021 – Crystal Run Healthcare is pleased to announce that Founder, Managing Partner & CEO, Hal Teitelbaum, MD, JD, MBA is the 2021 recipient of the Barbara Alvarez Humanitarian Award presented by The Police Community Council of the Town of Wallkill, for his contributions to enhancing the quality of life in the Town of Wallkill. Dr. Teitelbaum was presented with the award by Police Community Council President, Brian A. Davis, and Town of Wallkill Police Chief, Robert Hertman, at a Community Council meeting on Thursday, May 6th, held at the Town Hall.

“As the founder and CEO of Crystal Run Healthcare, Dr. Hal Teitelbaum is being recognized for providing a full spectrum of high-quality medical services for the residents of our Town. His leadership has contributed to the continuous improvement of the quality of life in our community. This is especially significant as we face the challenges of COVID-19,” said Brian A. Davis, President, Town of Wallkill Police Community Council. 

2021 marks 25 Years since Crystal Run Healthcare was first established by Dr. Teitelbaum along with his partners, Robert Dinsmore, MD and Manual Perry, MD in the Town of Wallkill. In 1996, Dr. Teitelbaum set out to create a new kind of healthcare in the region; one that emphasized access and quality, bringing together world-class physicians and other providers across a multitude of specialties, with state-of-the-art technology and leading-edge medicine. Over the years, the practice has continued to grow in size and scope, adding new services and locations to meet the needs of its patients and community. The Town of Wallkill Police Community Council is a community organization that serves as a liaison between the Police Department and the Community. Established in 2004, its primary mission is to work closely with the Police to establish a good quality of life for Town of Wallkill residents.
