We are proud to share that Optum has made a significant investment in our Radiology services to improve patient care and access to leading-edge technology. 

On August 4, 2025 we unveiled the addition of 3D breast imaging technology for patients in our Middletown, Monroe, Rock Hill, Newburgh and West Nyack locations. 3D mammography, also called digital breast tomosynthesis, is a special kind of breast imaging that creates a three-dimensional picture of the breast. It helps doctors see breast tissue more clearly than with standard 2D mammograms. 

Additionally, we upgraded our bone density equipment, also called DEXA or DXA, which uses X-rays to create an image of a bone. A provider may order a DEXA scan for patients to measure bone strength. This investment in improved diagnostic imaging technology will help us enhance the patient experience, improve access to radiology services through a connected network of care across the Hudson Valley, and provide patients more accurate testing and fewer callbacks for additional tests.
