When did you start working at Crystal Run Healthcare?

I started 10/17/2005.

What made you choose a career in this field?

I enlisted in the USAF when I was 25 and I wanted a go in with a secured job. Radiologic Technology was available and I qualified, so I grabbed it. I enjoyed my term in the Air Force and was mentored by the best in patient care and compassion. I must add I was raised by a mother who worked as a Medical Assistant and she exemplified that in my life as a teenager.

What is your biggest accomplishment within your career thus far?

My biggest accomplishment was being able to move my large family of 6 with my husband to Orange County in 2004 and remain true to my standards morals and values of motherhood while working here at Crystal Run. I began here as a Mammo Tech when we were only 155 CRR. I have worked in many modalities and buildings such as, Xray, ASC and now Team Lead/ Mammo Tech. My biggest accomplishment true to self and career.

What is your favorite part about working at Crystal Run Healthcare?

My favorite part is serving patients and building relationships with my colleagues.

What do you like to do outside of work?

Outside of work I enjoy knitting, crotchet, gardening, serving at church, being a mother and wife - the list goes on and on…..
