What made you choose a career in this field?
I knew from a very young age that I wanted to be a nurse. I believe that nursing is the perfect profession. There are an unlimited number of options available. Throughout my career I have been able to make a real difference in the lives of others. Ambulatory care is the fastest growing field in healthcare. It is so exciting and rewarding to be a part of the change that is happening to better the health of our community.

I can’t name one big accomplishment. I feel rewarded each day as I learn something new, help an employee solve a complex problem or make a difference that improves a patient’s health or well-being.
What is your favorite part about working at Crystal Run Healthcare?
It has been such an honor being a part of Crystal Run Healthcare. I am so proud of the nursing staff that I have the privilege to lead. They teach me new things every day, they inspire me and they truly are the best in the Hudson Valley. I feel a very strong connection to leaders in my department as well as department heads and providers across the practice. The level of care and service we provide to effect health outcomes for patients is outstanding. One of the most unique things about Crystal Run is the level of collaboration that occurs between physician leaders, nurses and department heads. Crystal Run is the perfect place to lead and serve others as they experience professional growth and better the lives of patients.
What do you like to do outside of work?
Outside of work I am literally outside. I enjoy the outdoors and I practice yoga. I volunteer my time with the Boy Scouts of America and with Junior Leadership Orange.
