Meet Dan Cosh, CHTM, Manager of Biomedical Engineering

Why do you love working at Crystal Run Healthcare?

I get to work with an incredible team of people every day to help meet the medical equipment technology needs of the staff and organization to deliver exceptional healthcare to our patients. The combination of the work environment and my team with the culture, mission, and core values here at Crystal Run make it a wonderful and enjoyable place to work.   

What career path did you take to get to where you are today?

I was introduced to the Biomedical Engineering field through an internship I completed while in college and was hired as a Biomedical Equipment Technician by Crystal Run Healthcare when I graduated. Throughout my time here I have been fortunate to work alongside truly great mentors where I was able to develop my professional skills and knowledge to achieve job growth within a successful and supportive organization.

How do you help shape the patient experience at CRHC?

I help ensure that the medical equipment that our amazing healthcare providers use to provide medical care to our patients is properly maintained and ready for use when needed.

Dan's Career Path at Crystal Run:

• 2006- Hired as Biomedical Equipment Technician

• 2011- Promoted to Biomedical Engineering Team Leader

• 2015- Promoted to Biomedical Engineering Supervisor

• 2019- Promoted to Manager of Biomedical Engineering
