When did you start working at CRHC?

I started in June 2016.

What made you choose a career in this field?

You won’t believe this, but every member of my immediate family is an RN (mother, father, sister, brother). Nursing is all I’ve ever known.

What is your biggest accomplishment within your career thus far?

The strong relationships I’ve developed with my patients. I’ve built my career on patient empowerment through education. I enjoy working with people to determine their individual needs, learning abilities and personal goals. I have a passion for educating.  I love what I do, and I hope it shows! 

What is your favorite part about working at CRHC?

The best part about being a Diabetes Nurse Educator at CRHC is knowing that I am making a small, but important, difference in my community.  It’s rewarding to help patients make positive lifestyle changes to achieve better overall health. Working at CRHC also gives me the opportunity to work with incredible providers & colleagues.

What do you like to do outside of work?

My time outside of work is devoted to my family.  I enjoy family time, no matter what we are doing!
