About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

Working as a bedside RN for several years in in-patient and emergency settings, I have come to realize I can do more to help my patients manage their health problems and needs by advancing my education. I knew I wanted to be a Nurse Practitioner to guide my patients to make smart health and lifestyle choices.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love the idea of helping my patients when they are acutely sick, to be able to follow them from admission to discharge and seeing them getting better after an acute illness is highly rewarding.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to make each of my patients feel that he or she is the only patient whom I am seeing that particular day. Their well-being is my number one priority.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Hiking, road trips, binge watching Netflix or Hulu, reading books, and of course friends and family time

What is your advice for your patients?

Prevention is always easier and much better than treatment. We only own one body so we should take care of it while we can.
