What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I've always liked to help other people. Nursing has been a great way to combine helping and health to care for others.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I appreciate the long-term caring involved with primary care. The continuity helps to build a partnership to improve our patients' health.

How do you connect with your patients?

Simple things such as saying hello, really listening, and explaining care helps me to connect with patients.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, traveling, and all things Marvel.

What is your advice for your patients?

I always suggest for all visits writing down one or two important questions that you don't want to forget to ask.
