About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My earliest memory of wanting to be a doctor occurred while I was providing first aid to people injured at a concert. I worked with an organization (NW RockMed) that took care of people injured and ill at concerts and raves. I realized I enjoyed working with patients and that I was good at patient care.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I love emergency medicine because I can help people deal with an immediate problem, relieve their suffering and worry and sometimes save a life.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by listening to them and letting them know I've heard what their concerns are.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Outside medicine, I travel, listen to music and cook.
What is your advice for your patients?
I advise most of my patients to follow up with their primary care doctor.
