What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

My mom was a healthcare provider. Seeing her in this role made me want to follow in her footsteps, as it was very rewarding to help people feel better.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

FNP is very broad, seeing patients across the lifespan. It allows me to work in many different areas.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with patients by listening to their concerns, being empathetic and present during my time with them, and building a good rapport with them.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I love reading and most recently have started running. Spending time with my kids and family.
