What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

My desire to become a physician was sparked at age 13 when I fell severely ill in a remote Himalayan village and received compassionate, life-saving care from a local doctor working out of his home. His profound empathy and dedication despite limited resources inspired me to pursue medicine and dedicate my life to serving others. This calling was solidified during my clinical rotations, where I discovered a deep passion for patient advocacy, front-line preventive care, and building long-term relationships in family medicine.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

What I find most rewarding about family medicine is the opportunity to establish enduring relationships with patients and guide them through complex disease management and proactive preventive care.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with patients through active listening and transparent, open communication.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I like to watch and play sports like basketball and football, travel, eat good food, fix cars, and spend time with family.

What is your advice for your patients?

The advice I give most to my patients is to focus on small, consistent lifestyle changes rather than overwhelming overhauls. I remind them that lasting health comes from daily, manageable habits in diet, movement, and stress management.
