About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

In High School, I had the opportunity to "shadow" our local hospital CEO, who was a practicing physician. I enjoyed spending the day with the physician and his patients and knew that becoming a medical provider was what I wanted to pursue.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Vascular Surgery is a very diverse specialty that is challenging because many of the patients have multiple medical co-morbidities.

How do you connect with your patients?

I enjoy talking with my patients to learn about their lives and health care.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Reading, running and playing with my dog.

What is your advice for your patients?

Quit smoking. Walk or be active for 30 minutes each day.
