About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
My passion for health care began early, inspired by listening to my mother share stories about her work as a nurse in our home country. Her dedication to caring and advocating for patients shaped my own commitment to medicine.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
I chose family and internal medicine because it reflects the kind of care I grew up seeing in the small village where I was born, where the doctor knew not just the patient, but their family, their life, and the challenges they faced beyond the exam room. That sense of connection shaped how I practice medicine today. I strive to truly understand my patients and work with them as a team to address the root causes of illness and manage chronic conditions. My goal is to help patients stay healthy, feel supported, and prevent complications that lead to more serious health issues.
How do you connect with your patients?
Connecting with patients starts with listening. I encourage questions and open conversation, because meaningful care happens when patients feel comfortable speaking up. Not everything can be addressed in a single visit, and I always welcome patients to reach out or follow up when new questions arise.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Outside the office I enjoy reading, creative endeavors, dancing, and especially traveling. I believe cultural education is critical to be able to understand and relate to others, so my greatest passion is spending time immersed in different cultures.
What is your advice for your patients?
My advice to patients is to listen to your body and never be afraid to speak up for yourself. The relationship with your provider should feel comfortable and supportive.
