About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
I was raised in a medical family and have always been interested in medicine. Working with Physician Assistants after college and hearing of their great passion for the profession reinforced my desire to become one.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Urgent care medicine provider patients with the ability to get care for acute needs that can't be met by way of a prompt family medicine visit or does not necessarily need to be met in an ER. It allows me to help minimize the impact these health concerns have on their daily routine and budget, critical in the age of COVID-19.
How do you connect with your patients?
I connect with my patients by listening attentively and actively, and taking into consideration their own perspectives about their health matters and need for treatment.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
I enjoy downhill skiing, cooking and baking, and hiking with my puppies.
What is your advice for your patients?
Don't be afraid to give input and preference. Be your own advocate. Exercise and eat healthy. Avoid or quit smoking.
