About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

When I was 8 years old, I remember my grandmother taking me to our neighborhood doctor in the Bronx for a rash. That’s when I realized what a wonderful gift it would be to be able to help people with medical issues.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

It’s wonderful to treat young adults, their parents and grandparents, learning the family dynamics and how it relates to health.

How do you connect with your patients?

By carefully listening to them during the visit, being non-judgmental and partnering with them towards their optimum health goals.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Movies, reading, and boxing, plus my two rescue pugs!

What is your advice for your patients?

Every day is another chance to be the best you can be.
