About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

My parents are both physicians and I could see the satisfaction they found in their work. I like that medicine provides a body of knowledge and skills that can be used to help people.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

Urology is a cutting edge specialty where we have a variety of options to improve or cure many of the conditions we treat, from medications to endoscopic procedures to robotic surgeries. We can also spare many patients the side effects of medication or surgery with lifestyle changes or surveillance, which is a growing part of urology. I like being able to form a relationship with patients over time and improve their quality of life.

How do you connect with your patients?

I believe it's important to listen to my patients to understand how their symptoms affect their life and what their priorities are. This way we can discuss what treatment options would be best for them and come up with a plan to help make them better.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with my wife and young son.

What is your advice for your patients?

Please let me know what you hope to come away with from our visit, and feel free to ask questions if something we've discussed is unclear to you.
