About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I always knew I wanted to do something to help people. As I learned about the Physician Assistant profession, I knew it was the right choice for me. It gives you the opportunity to sit face to face with a patient and get to know and understand them better.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I chose Urgent Care because you get to see a wide variety of everything and you get to manage patients of all different ages and backgrounds. I enjoy the relationships that providers get to have with their patients while in Urgent Care. Even though often times we do not get to see the patient again, I enjoy knowing that the patient knows that we are there in the event they need someone if something unexpected arises.

How do you connect with your patients?

I connect with my patients by taking the time to listen to them and getting to know them on a personal level. I think it is very important to listen to patients’ concerns and give them your undivided attention.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

Sports, hiking, traveling, and spending time with family

What is your advice for your patients?

Take charge of your health. You are the one in control.
