What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I have always been motivated to make a positive impact on the lives of others. I aspire to have a meaningful career as a healthcare provider that combines my love of learning about medicine with the ability to make tangible differences and foster a sense of community.
 

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love urgent care because it keeps you on your toes; you never know what to expect. I also enjoy having the opportunity to provide care to patients of all ages.

How do you connect with your patients?

Each patient deserves to leave the office knowing their concerns have been addressed, and making an effort to listen is the first step. Taking time to listen to patients and ask for their input on the situation is one of the most important parts of being a medical provider.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy spending time outdoors, kayaking, hiking, spending time with family and friends, and live music.

What is your advice for your patients?

You know your own body best. Advocate for yourself and never be afraid to ask questions.
