Crystal Run Healthcare Adds Pediatric Gastroenterology and Welcomes Six New Providers to the Practice

Crystal Run Healthcare announces the addition of Pediatric Gastroenterology to its growing list of specialties which will be offered at several locations in Orange County. In addition, six new providers have joined the practice, including:

Sherin Daniel, MD, is the first Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join Crystal Run Healthcare. She earned her Medical Degree from St. George’s University in Grenada West Indies and completed her Residency in Pediatrics at Richmond University Medical Center in Staten Island, NY. Dr. Daniel completed Fellowship training in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Stony Brook Children’s Hospital in Stony Brook, NY. She specializes in Pediatric Gastroenterology with clinical interests in Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and Eosinophilic Esophagitis. She will provide care to pediatric patients of all ages in Middletown, Monroe, and Newburgh.

Christine S. Carter, DNP, FNP-C, completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice, Family Nurse Practitioner Degree from University School of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD.  She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and will provide care to patients in Middletown.

Elizabeth U. Eckardt, AGPNP-C, completed her Master of Science in Nursing to become an Adult/Gerontological Primary Care Nurse Practitioner at Hunter College in Manhattan, NY. She is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner and specializes in Hospital Medicine. Ms. Eckardt will be providing inpatient care at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital as part of Crystal Run’s Hospital Medicine program.   

Logan Z. Reisenbigler, PA, completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pace University-Lenox Hill Hospital PA Program in New York, NY. She is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and specializes in Orthopedic Surgery. Logan will be providing care to patients in Middletown.      

Caroline E. Stockert, CPNP-PC, completed her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Yale University School of Nursing in New Haven, CT. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and will be providing care to children in Newburgh.

Mae E. Young, MD, earned her Medical Degree from Washington University in St. Louis, MO and completed her Residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA. She completed Fellowship training in Hand Surgery at University of Alabama in Birmingham, AL and is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery. Dr. Young will be seeing patients in Middletown, Monroe, and New Windsor.
