About Me
What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?
As a kid I was injury prone with many broken bones. I remember telling the docs I think I'll become a doctor some day.
What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?
Gastroenterology is a nice mix of using your mind to figure out certain illness and using your hands and technical skills in performing procedures. As gastroenterologists, we can usually help patients get better.
How do you connect with your patients?
I believe I connect most with my patients by making them feel comfortable by listening to their problems attentively, speaking in regular language, and taking their issues seriously. If a patient is sick enough to visit us, we will stay with him/her until they feel better.
What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?
Hiking large mountains, golf, playing with kids, travel, all sorts of exercise, dinner with friends.
What is your advice for your patients?
After evaluation and treatment, we can get you feeling better.
