About Me

What made you want to become a health care provider or what is your earliest memory of wanting to be one?

I always found the sciences fascinating, especially biology, and I wanted to do something that involved working with others and helping people, so medicine was a natural choice.

What do you love most about your specialty? / Why did you choose your specialty?

I love Ob/Gyn because it gives me the opportunity to help and empower women of all ages. I especially enjoy Obstetrics because there is nothing quite as special as bringing new life into the world.

How do you connect with your patients?

I try to make my patients feel comfortable. I am calm, not judgemental, and take the time to listen to their questions and concerns.

What are your interests outside of the office (hobbies, activities)?

I enjoy hiking, cooking, traveling, scuba diving, and spending time with my family.

What is your advice for your patients?

I would tell them not to use the internet as a source of health information. There is a lot of misinformation and exaggeration there.
